Professor Baizhan Li from the School of Civil Engineering, Chongqing University received the title National Outstanding Teacher in 2019, the National Huang Danian Style Teacher Team leader, and the National Distinguished Teaching Master. He received a number of prizes and honours, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award as the principal recipient in 2021 and the National Outstanding Teaching Award in 2023.
In 2002, after studying and working in the UK for about ten years, Baizhan Li returned to Chongqing University and devoted himself to education, research and implementation. Professor Baizhan Li has fully absorbed the essence of international scientific research, integrated it into local education, and cultivated innovative talents in green buildings. He has presided over the compilation of a series of textbooks on green building and collaborated with prestigious universities in the UK, US, Europe, Japan and so on to establish international collaboration bases. He supervised over 150 masters and PhDs, providing many composite talents for the country's green development and the joint construction of "the Belt and Road".
