On the morning of September 12, 2024, Porfessor Husi Géza, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Professor Tiba Zsolt, Dean's Representative for Foreign Affairs, visited Chongqing University to discuss student projects and research cooperation in the field of engineering between Chongqing University and the University of Debrecen. Subsequently, they visited the SuDBE Centre where the two sides had discussions and exchanges on future science and education cooperation. Professor Baizhan Li, the Director of National Centre for International Research of Low-carbon & Green Buildings (MOST), Professor Runming Yao, the Director of Joint International Research Lab of Green Buildings & Built Environments, Professor Hong Liu, the Deputy Director and Associate Professor Chenqiu Du attended the meeting.
The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the establishment of overseas base, scientific research cooperation, student exchange and joint cultivation, as well as jointly carrying out academic exchange activities and holding international conferences, and reached a preliminary consensus. The two sides agreed to further strengthen communication and implement specific cooperation plans.
Finally, Professor Baizhan Li and Professor Husi Géza countersigned the MOU on behalf of SuDBE Centre and the Faculty of Engineering of University of Debrecen. Based on the MOU cooperation framework, the two universities will carry out all-round cooperation between related schools, majors and research platforms.
