The 2024 National Academic Conference on Thermal Comfort and Sleep Environment and the Fifth Academic Forum of Thermal Comfort Group and Sleep Environment and Health Group were held in Minzhu Lake Lecture Hall, Campus A, Chongqing University. This conference was hosted by the Indoor Environment and Health Branch, Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences and organized by School of Civil Engineering, Chongqing University, National Centre for International Research of Low-carbon & Green Buildings, MOST and Joint International Research Lab of Green Buildings & Built Environments, MOE. More than university teachers, students and enterprise colleagues from all over the country participated in the conference to report and exchange the latest research progress and future trends in the field of thermal comfort and sleep environment. The conference was chaired by Prof. Yingxin Zhu from Tsinghua University, Prof. Zhiwei Lian from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Prof. Baizhan Li from Chongqing University and Prof. Hong Liu from Chongqing University.
The conference focused on topics related to thermal comfort and sleep environment, providing a good academic exchange platform for experts and scholars engaged in relevant research and promoting academic progress in related fields. At the same time, the successful holding of the conference is of great significance to the professional development of relevant disciplines and the double first-class construction of Chongqing University.
